The Bengals have moved on to the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs. Once again, to show support going into the game on Saturday the Cincinnati Bengals have asked everyone to #showyourstripes by wearing their favorite orange and black to work, school, or wherever you might be tomorrow. On Wednesday January 19, 2022, Mrs. Greco held an informational meeting regarding the process of becoming valedictorian/salutatorian/CCP valedictorian. Interested students registered for the meeting via Google Forms. Over 20 students registered for the meeting (as well as any other students who decided they wanted to attend at the last minute) and met in Room 206 during 2nd period. The following topics were discussed: calculating student GPA, number of courses required, differences between traditional val/sal and CCP val, the ranking process, clarification of transcripts, a list of the weighted courses, explanation of which CCP courses are weighted, and how the final weighted rank is determined. Students were given a copy of his/her transcript and a packet outlining the process. All materials from the meeting have been posted on the school website and emailed to all students, and Mrs. Greco (heidi.greco@fpls.us) is available if you have any questions or need clarification.
