FHS PARENTS:
We are happy to announce Fayetteville High School will be offering FREE, IN-PERSON, AFTER-SCHOOL tutoring sessions beginning Tuesday, March 15, 2022. Tutoring will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 PM to 4:15 PM until May 12, 2022.
Tutoring will be provided for each core subject area: Math, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies. The hope is to make up for learning lost during the Covid-19 pandemic. We hope to better prepare students for End of Course Exams, assist students who need to raise their grades, and, most importantly, make sure students have the opportunity to learn the knowledge and skills needed for success in the future.
Transportation is the parentsโ responsibility. Students will need to be picked up at 4:15. We know rising gas prices could pose an issue for many of our students, so to help alleviate some of those worries, we will be giving gas cards to students who participate, as well as providing a nice snack to all who attend the tutoring sessions.
If you would like to enroll your student into the tutoring program, please complete the form at the following link or email heidi.greco@fpls.us. You do not want to miss your chance at free tutoring, help on assignments, good snacks, and free gas cards! Sign up for tutoring today!

The FCCLA has been hard at work during January and February with the F.A.C.T.S Project. The students chose to get involved with the traffic safety issue of seatbelt use. The goal of the project was to impact student traffic safety through proper seatbelt use. The use of signs, random seatbelt checks, door decorating, and incentives were able to increase seatbelt use among high school students.
We would like to thank the Fayetteville Police Department with all of their help and the State Highway Patrol for the use of their "Click it or Ticket it" Banners and Yard Signs.
Keep up the good work Fayetteville students and drivers and continue to wear your seatbelts on every ride!
