Our first year boys golf team's improvement came to light yesterday in the SHAC tournament at Buckeye Hills. Our team shot a season best 198 on the tough course. Coltin Hundley led our Rockets with season best 45, Toby Brown followed with 46, and Eli Smith 51. Sectional ahead!
In the second match Thursday evening, our Junior High Lady Rockets played a highly competitive match before dropping a two point decision in the third and final set to L-Clay. Excellent middle school match.
FHS Forensic Science class is learning how to investigate crimes with unbiased opinions. We already processed a crime scene and now learning about fingerprinting. Watch out criminals!
FHS Volleyball traveled to CNE tonight for the “Battle of the Rockets!”

🏐 Varsity Lady Rockets battled all night, splitting the first four sets and forcing a deciding 5th set. They fought hard until the end but came up just short in a competitive match.

The Varsity Lady Rockets brought home another WIN Wednesday night at Peebles! Multiple players contributed to a strong team effort as the Lady Rockets earned the victory in three straight sets!

Junior high football tonight at Batavia now has a kickoff time of 7 PM. Bus departure moved to 5:30 PM. Boys soccer practice is moving into the HS Gym, 6-8 PM.

⚽The Boys and Girls Soccer games scheduled for tonight at Peebles have been CANCELED due to the weather/heat.
🏐Volleyball at Peebles will now play both JV and Varsity games tonight. The JV game will begin at 5:30 p.m., with Varsity to follow.
🎣 Outdoor Recreation Fishing Field Trip! 🎣
Our Outdoor Recreation students had a great day putting their fishing skills into practice! They enjoyed time on the water, learned more about Ohio fish species and fishing techniques, and of course, had fun catching some fish!
It was a great opportunity to take what we’ve learned in the classroom and experience it hands-on outdoors. 🌿🎣
So thankful for opportunities like this that make learning memorable!

In art class, our elementary students read "The Dot" by Peter H. Reynolds. We discussed how sometimes you just need to make a dot and see where it can take you when creating art!
Students then created their own "dots" to create a collaborative installation piece. Each grade used various shades of one color.
