Rocket JV baseball traveled to Hillsboro last night and opened with a five run first inning; however, the home standing Indians responded and took the win. Valuable game action for our young Rockets vs good competition. No athletic events until Monday.
Mrs, Smith took the Envirothon team to the Area 5 competition at Rocky Fork today!

We’re excited to celebrate our students for their success with the Go For The Red campaign through Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA)!
Go For The Red is FCCLA’s annual membership campaign focused on growing strong chapters—encouraging students to recruit new members, retain current ones, and recognize achievements along the way. By setting goals and working together, participants can earn incentives like gift cards and special recognition at the National Leadership Conference.
Our students stepped up, met their goals, and showed what leadership, teamwork, and school pride look like in action. We are incredibly proud of their dedication to strengthening our chapter and creating opportunities for others to get involved. ❤️👏

The elementary art show will be held tonight during Parent-Teacher Conferences. Come on out and see the work of our talented student artists. The show is in the hallway by the gym and will be open from 4-8.
The deadline to register for our March Midnight Madness tournament has been extended until Friday, April 17 at noon. Please be sure to drop of your registration forms and money to the HS office before 4:00pm today or by noon on Friday.
The Rocket JH Track & Field team showed up and made some noise at Lynchburg last night in a big meet! 🚀
Ethan Blust led the way with 1st place finishes in both the 1600m and 800m. Ava Strong had an outstanding night, placing 2nd in the 100m hurdles and long jump, and 3rd in the 200m hurdles. Jack Lockhart was the top 7th grade thrower!
On top of that—PRs all around. Proud of this group and the way they continue to compete and improve! 💪
Fayetteville Youth football and cheer are having sign-ups tomorrow at elementary Parent-Teacher Conferences. Cost is $80 and the league requires a copy of the birth certificate. Additional sign-ups on April 25 from 11-3 at the youth soccer fields and May 5 from 6-8 at the community park baseball fields. For football questions contact Stella Berry at 614-595-5559. The Jr. Fair Art Cover Contest is going on for the 2026 Brown County Fair. If you would like to submit a design, the details are on the flyer along with the guideines for the artworks! The theme is "Brown County Fair - A Grand Old Fair." All entries are due by May 15th to the fair office.

Softball scheduled for Thursday vs New Richmond is being postponed with no reschedule date yet finalized.
A nice opportunity tonight for our boys baseball team to experience historic VA Memorial Stadium outside of Chillicothe with new turf. Brown County neighbor Georgetown is our opponent with first pitch scheduled for 7:30 PM.

Our Rocket baseball team's comeback effort vs North Adams unable to get over the top dropping an 8-5 decision this evening. Our boys will be back in action Tuesday at Chillicothe's VA Memorial Field for a 7:30 pm first pitch vs Georgetown.
Rocket softball comes up short in extra innings, 11-8 to North Adams.
There will be an art club meeting this Wednesday, April 15th after school until 4:00pm to work on the America 250 Mural!
