Student Council hosted a powerful Distracted/Impaired Driving Mock Crash Drill to help raise awareness and ultimately save lives.
We are incredibly grateful to the many agencies who came together to make this impactful experience possible, including the Brown County Sheriff’s Department, Brown County 911 Center, University Air Care Medical Transport, Ohio State Highway Patrol, Brown County Coroner’s Office, Fayetteville Fire Department and EMS, School Resource Officer Jason Noonan, Zach’s Towing and Recovery, and others.
The drill featured a live demonstration in the parking lot, followed by meaningful guest speakers who reinforced the real-life consequences of distracted and impaired driving.
This was more than just an event—it was a reminder to make safe choices behind the wheel. Thank you to everyone who helped educate and protect our students and community.

I want to thank Mr. Aric Fiscus for his dedication and service to public education, as well as his leadership as Fayetteville-Perry Elementary Principal over the past seven years. We wish him nothing but happiness and fulfillment in his retirement.
