In art class, our elementary students read "The Dot" by Peter H. Reynolds. We discussed how sometimes you just need to make a dot and see where it can take you when creating art!
Students then created their own "dots" to create a collaborative installation piece. Each grade used various shades of one color.
5th grade--Red
4th grade--Orange
3rd Grade-- Yellow
2nd Grade-- Green
1st Grade-- Blue
Kindergarten-- Boys did Purple, Girls did Pink
Everyone is an artist, you just have to be brave enough to start!

Boys golf back in action tonight with a third place finish behind CNE and North Adams. Toby Brown led our Rockets with a 46, Bradley Huber 55, Eli Smith 56, and Colton Hundley 57.
Boys varsity soccer with a sharp win over Eastern Brown by a score of 3-0 in a match shortened by darkness. Boys and girls back on the road Wednesday at Peebles; boys at 430, girls to follow.

In a tough match at Eastern Brown, our Lady Rockets fought from behind to tie it, but a late Warrior goal wins it, 2-1.

Fayetteville-Perry Schools will be operating on a 1-hour delay for students on Monday, September 14, 2026.
-The SHCTC bus will depart Fayetteville-Perry at 8:35 AM.

Rocket defense with their fifth straight shutout quarter dating back to last Friday. We added another drive for a touchdown and lead the Vikings, 30-0 after three quarters.
