The boys' basketball staff appreciated and enjoyed a great turnout for our 1st Annual Rocket Basketball Camp this week. I appreciate the organizational help of Coach Austin Newman and our experienced varsity players who served the younger players enthusiastically.

Rocket Community, I am excited to extend a warm welcome to our new Athletic Director, Joe Stewart! Mr. Stewart was approved at our June Board of Education Meeting and will be leading Fayetteville-Perry Local Schools athletic programs for the 2024-2025 school year. With a rich background in both athletics and education, Mr. Stewart brings a wealth of knowledge to our community. As a retired teacher and an experienced coach, his expertise will be invaluable to our programs. Already board-approved in the Spring to coach the high school varsity boys basketball program, Mr. Stewart will continue in his role alongside his new responsibilities. We are very excited to work with Mr. Stewart and eager to see the positive impact he will have on our athletic programs and our students as a whole. Welcome aboard, Mr. Stewart! The Adams County Regional Medical Center has sports physicals available year-round at a cost of $15. Athletes should bring their own OHSAA physical form and they can be conducted at any ACRMC location. Mt. Orab hours: 7 AM 7 PM Mon. through Fri.; 9 AM - 1 PM Sat.

Coach Stewart and the Boys HS Basketball staff will be conducting a basketball camp for boys entering grades 7-8-9 July 15, 16, 17, 10:00 A.M. - Noon in the middle school gym. There is no charge for this camp. Registration on the first day at 9:45 A.M.
