The FCCLA has been hard at work during January and February with the F.A.C.T.S Project. The students chose to get involved with the traffic safety issue of seatbelt use. The goal of the project was to impact student traffic safety through proper seatbelt use. The use of signs, random seatbelt checks, door decorating, and incentives were able to increase seatbelt use among high school students.
We would like to thank the Fayetteville Police Department with all of their help and the State Highway Patrol for the use of their "Click it or Ticket it" Banners and Yard Signs.
Keep up the good work Fayetteville students and drivers and continue to wear your seatbelts on every ride!
