🎳 Great bowling tonight by the ROCKETS! Boys beat Fairfield. Jack Hoskins was high bowler with a nice 224 game. The girls lost a good match to Fairfield. Jade James was high bowler for the girls!

🏀8th Grade Lady Rockets won there last official HOME game tonight vs Peebles!

The Bengals have moved on to the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs. Once again, to show support going into the game on Saturday the Cincinnati Bengals have asked everyone to #showyourstripes by wearing their favorite orange and black to work, school, or wherever you might be tomorrow. We encourage our students and staff to join in support in wearing Bengals gear or orange and black to school tomorrow. Who Dey! and, as always, Go Rockets!

On Wednesday January 19, 2022, Mrs. Greco held an informational meeting regarding the process of becoming valedictorian/salutatorian/CCP valedictorian. Interested students registered for the meeting via Google Forms. Over 20 students registered for the meeting (as well as any other students who decided they wanted to attend at the last minute) and met in Room 206 during 2nd period. The following topics were discussed: calculating student GPA, number of courses required, differences between traditional val/sal and CCP val, the ranking process, clarification of transcripts, a list of the weighted courses, explanation of which CCP courses are weighted, and how the final weighted rank is determined. Students were given a copy of his/her transcript and a packet outlining the process. All materials from the meeting have been posted on the school website and emailed to all students, and Mrs. Greco (heidi.greco@fpls.us) is available if you have any questions or need clarification. Congratulations to the Following students for being selected as Student of the Month for December. Students were nominated by a teacher and then agreed upon by the entire teaching staff. Each student will participate in Coneys with a Cop and also received the Frisch's extra effort award. Fayetteville Perry Board of Education held their Organizational Meeting on Thursday, January 13, 2022 in the High School Library. The following members being sworn into office are as follows: (L to R) Re-Elected - Paula White - 2 year term, Newly Elected - Merri Kay Adkins - 4 year term and Re-Elected - Rachel Ray - 4 year term. Rachel Ray is the President of the Board of Education for the 2022 year.
