Fayetteville High School's FCCLA hosted a Traffic Safety event. This event featured ten different stations with hands-on activities and three guest speakers who highlighted the dangers, fines, and penalties of speeding. The event allowed all high school students to participate during the school day during their elective classes. In addition to being informative for the students it also allowed them to work with their peers and gain a better understanding of why not to speed.

Kindergarten and 1st grade students explored monoprinting during Art Camp today!
Monoprinting is a style of printmaking where the artist has a unique print because it is the only one of its kind.
Student experimented with paint and various tools (brushes, popsicle sticks, circle caps, clothespins, q-tips, etc) on a special rubber pad made for monoprinting. When they were ready, we laid a piece of paper onto the pad and when it was pulled up, it revealed their one of a kind print!
Some students even figured out that you have to write your name/words backwards so that when its printed, it's written normal!
As you can see by the "messy table"...our artists had a blast!!!
