Read Across America Week starts today as we recognize Dr. Seuss's birthday on this day in 1904. FPLS will celebrate this with its District Literacy Night, this Wednesday, March 6 : ES 5-7pm and MS/HS 6-8pm. Please plan to attend activities across the district, visit the informational table from the Brown County Public Library, hear from local author Rose Long, play games, sign up for door prizes, and most importantly, view your student's work related to their literacy projects!

The 2024 March Midnight Madness Basketball Tournament is Saturday, March 16th - Registration forms are due to Mrs. Crawford no later than Monday, March 4th @ 3:00 pm.
Marietta College varsity player and FHS alumni, Jayden Bradshaw, will be returning to referee the games! Come out and join the fun to see if the Senior Class can pull off a win!
Spectator admission is $5 at the door. All proceeds benefit the Sophomore Class of 2026.

Good evening Rockets. Tomorrow, varsity girls basketball takes on Fort Loramie for their District Tournament game at Troy High School (151 W STAUNTON RD TROY, 45373). Tipoff will be at 12:30pm.
Fans are to use Market St or Adams St. entrances to the parking lot, and to enter through Door #18 on the North side of the building.
Tickets can be purchased online (https://www.ohsaa.org/tickets) or at the gate. Adults are $8 and students are $5 for both options.

Varsity boys basketball open up their tournament run with a dominant victory over Middletown Christian. Final score of 45-78. Their next game will be this Saturday at Ross high school.







There will be two basketball tournament games tonight. Varsity girls basketball will travel to Monroe High School for their sectional championship game, with tipoff roughly at 6pm. Varsity boys basketball starts their tournament run tonight at Ross High School, scheduled for 6:45pm. Both teams will match up against Middletown Christian tonight!
