
On Monday, Mr. Basford's Info Tech 8 classes traveled to Southern State Community College for the celebration event of Ohio Code Scholar Robot Wars. Over the past few months, students configured a controller, 3D printed, wired, soldered, and programmed, a total of 34 robots.











Great start to the tournament, with the Lady Rockets winning over Georgetown 11-1! Their next game will be at home on Tuesday, 5/14 against Lockland.







Special congratulations to the spring athletics that received All-League! Baseball player Clayton Holden, as well as softball players Kenley Polston, Izabella Waddle, and Ava Wells, all received this special honor. Also, Head Softball Coach Kenny Waddle is the SHAC Co-Coach of the year! Excellent work from our athletes and coaches!

Varsity softball will begin their tournament run tonight at home against Georgetown. The game is on as scheduled, with a start time of 5pm. Tickets can be purchased with cash at the gate, or online at https://www.ohsaa.org/tickets . Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students. Any changes due to weather will be communicated!

We apologize, but we have to post an updated price list for the flower sale. One of the prices was incorrect. PTO flower sale is tomorrow and Friday.


After lunch today, information regarding high school scheduling, graduation requirements, and the Course Selection Guide was presented to 8th grade students by the High School Dean of Academics, Mrs. Greco. The green schedule request forms should be reviewed, completed, and signed by the student and parent. Please submit forms to the MS office by Monday 5/13. There have been a few changes to tonight's baseball and softball games. Varsity baseball and softball will now play at home, with a 5:15pm start time. Both JV softball and baseball games have been cancelled for this evening.

๐โโ๏ธFriday the Rocket Middle School Track team ended their season at the SHAC meet at Lynchburg! The team did amazing! Everyone had a PR in at least one event they participated in! AJ Johnson came in 1st in the boys 100m dash and 200m dash. Levi Espinoza came in 1st in the boys 110 Hurdles and 200 hurdles! Kenna Stratton came in 1st in the girls 400m run! Kara Green and River Hinerman both had new PRโs in girls Long Jump! Isaiah Berry had a PR in his 400m run. Great season everyone! ๐











Yesterday was the first official day of the 96th Ohio FFA State Convention! In the 1st session, we were recognized as a Charitable Giving Chapter, represented by Warren Murphy. In the 2nd session, we listened to an awesome Keynote speaker, Morris Morrison, and we were recognized as a Gold Rated Chapter, represented by Brooklyn Iles and Claire Schaefer! In the evening, we got to see our awesome Ag. Power Diagnostics coaches , Tom Borchers and David Lewis, receive the Honorary State Degree! Thank you for all you do for the chapter!
