๐ **Nail-biters on the Court!** ๐ Shoutout to our boys basketball teams for giving us some *heart-stopping* action tonight at Whiteoak. In a battle down to the last second the Varsity fall short with a 3 point shot at the buzzer. JV boys secured a victory.








Our school is proud and happy to host the 2nd round of the boys Junior High SHAC tournament tomorrow. However, please be advised that as a conference sponsored event, there are no passes and no free admissions. Ticket prices are $5 adults, $4 students and children. Good ๐ here!


Five games; two gyms; all go to the Rockets! Our girls JV and varsity basketball teams closed out the evening with a sweep of Eastern Brown. Playing our third game in four days, the Varsity ๐ jumped to a lead they never relinquished in a sharp night of effort and execution.

Congratulations to the Girls Basketball team for their win over Fairfield this evening. The Rockets let a lead slip away as Fairfield took the game into overtime. With 5 seconds left on the clock the Rockets sank two free throw to win the game. Final score 40 - 39. Way to go Rockets.







Fayetteville Rocket 2022 grad Jayden Bradshaw and his Marietta College team is playing at Wilmington College this Saturday at 4 PM. If enough interest from JH & HS students we plan to provide transportation to and from FP. Game tix $6.00; 3:00 depart. Sign up by Noon Friday.


Congratulations are in order for both girls and boys Rocket bowlers bringing home a win last night vs Ripley at the lanes in Aberdeen. Girls leaders were Jaelyn Barber 183-194 and Reese Crampton personal best 167. Boys leader Dillon Wagner had a 161. It was Sr. Night for them.



ES/MS Parent/Guardian: Book Fair and Bring a Friend to Breakfast permission slips are being sent home with students. Please be sure to fill out and return by Jan. 31st. The book fair will run Feb 3rd- 12th. Enjoy breakfast with your student and shop around for some new books! We look forward to seeing you all.

Hoagie Day will be Tuesday, January 28. Orders for students in grades 5-12 will be taken during lunch periods tomorrow and Friday. There will be no orders taken after Friday. Cost of the hoagie is $4. As always, we appreciate the support of Terry's Pizza to our district!
