Varsity ends the night with a loss in spite of good effort and good comeback. Final score Rockets 56 and Wildcats 62. On to the tournament next week.


The Rockets are wrapping up their regular basketball season tonight at Williamsburg. The freshmen team with a great effort and some well placed shots win in overtime 37 to 46. Great job!!

Congratulations to the December Student of the Month recipients. Student are nominated by their teacher and then selected by the entire staff. Students received a certificate, a Frisch's extra effort award, and will participate in "Coney's with a Cop" in the coming weeks. Recipients are:
6th grade: Kenna Stratton and Israel Viruet, 7th grade: Chloe Cox and Drew Williams, 8th grade: Bailey Cummings and Ethan Humphries. Congratulations to all for your hard work.
Last night, our Senior bowlers competed in their last regular season match. They've worked hard to get where they are now! On to the sectionals!


Today, Fayetteville FFA members competed in two Career Development Events. Gracie Grant and Landon Huber competed in the Ag. Power Diagnostics contest at Ag. Pro in Wilmington this morning. They are to diagnose two issues with various pieces of equipment. They placed 10th in the district. Nice job! Then, Michael Boler and Gracie Grant competed in the sub-district public speaking contest in Georgetown tonight by reciting the FFA Creed. Gracie placed 4th and Michael placed 5th! Gracie is advancing to the District contest next week. Awesome job everyone!
