For high school students during a school delay, students who arrive later than usual or leave early must still follow their scheduled class times for the delay.
If a student has a school-related conflict during a delay, such as work-based learning hours, College Credit Plus courses, or another approved school commitment, they should contact the office each day that a delay occurs so we can help coordinate attendance and communication.
If there are after-school activities, including academic programs, practices, and athletic events, scheduled on a day when school is closed due to weather, the district will review weather and road conditions throughout the day. If conditions improve and an activity is allowed to continue, families will be notified through the district’s standard communication channels. Final decisions regarding after-school activities will be made by 1pm.
