Salli Swisher brings almost three decades of educational experience to her Kindergarten students at FPES. She was recently named the FPLS Teacher of the Year and will compete for the county title this fall. Salli has a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Morehead State University and a Master’s degree in Reading instruction from Nova Southeastern University. She holds a Professional Kindergarten-Primary (K-3) License which qualifies her to teach all subjects in her self-contained classroom. Salli is truly a hometown girl, living in the house she grew up in in Mt. Orab, and she is a member of the Mt. Orab Church of Christ. She has two college-age daughters, and she spends her free time Bible journaling and playing outside with her sweet, yellow lab, Sasie.

Becky Vaughn is a FHS graduate who was blessed with the unique
opportunity to teach alongside her father, Mr. Kidd, during her twenty-five year educational career. For the past eight of those years, she has served as a Title I Reading Teacher at FPES. She has a B.A. in Elementary Education from Wilmington College, a Master’s in Teaching and Learning (Reading) from Nova Southeastern University, and holds a Professional Elementary (1-8) License. Becky supports district improvement by serving on a number of committees including the Building Leadership Team, the Literacy Initiative Committee, and the PBIS Committee. She has been married to her husband, Phillip, for twenty-six years, and they have a daughter, Ruby, another future FHS graduate!
