
Fayetteville Elementary Kindergarten registration will be held on Friday, March 24. Registration will be open between 11:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. as well as 4:00-7:00, no appointment needed. You will park in the back parking lot of the elementary school and enter Door #27. You can also pick up a registration packet prior to registration day in the elementary office. The local scholarship application was sent to all seniors' FPLS email accounts today! The deadline to apply for all local scholarships is April 21, 2023. See document for the Google Form link and for more information. All FPLS seniors are encouraged to apply (including full-time CCP and SHCTC students!).

Spring sports are almost in full swing! Our Junior High Track team has their first meet this Saturday at Georgetown. Varsity Baseball begins their home regular season games against Blanchester on 3/27. Softball will have their first home game versus Ripley on 3/28.

Attention students and parents! Our track program is starting an old equipment drive! If you have any old track equipment, be sure to bring it to school. Equipment can be turned into the athletic office, or to Sarah Williams.

This is open for any girls grades 8-11 that are interested in participating in HS Volleyball!

SHCTC students brought their Freshmen Caravan to FHS today to introduce our students to the various programs they have available. This is one more way we help students to be College and Career Ready.




FPES Science Fair winners were recognized at tonight's BOE meeting. Third grader Sawyer Yockey went on to compete at the BC Science Fair where he received an honorable mention trophy for the third grade division. Congratulations to all our young scientists.



Our Right to Read Week Literacy Night was a success! Thank you to all of the teachers and families who made this such a fun experience for generations of Rockets, and a special thank you to Mr. Kidd for playing our Curious George.





Tory Rummel and Anne Murphy represented our school well at the East vs. West All-Star game this past week! Huge honors for these hard working rockets!




Reminder to all students interested in CCP for next year: All students must view the CCP Information video prior to tomorrow--March 17th. If you have previously attended a CCP info night, you do not need to watch, but it is available on the website if you would like a refresher. Also, all CCP Intent to Participate forms are due in the HS office by March 31 (due to spring break). If that form is not completed, the student will not be eligible to participate in CCP next school year. Please email heidi.greco@fpls.us if you have questions regarding the CCP program.

Reminder for those that sent in an RSVP-Tomorrow evening is Literacy Night at the elementary! Join us from 5-6:30 for a night that's Wild about Reading! We will have multiple activity centers that are reading and literacy based that PreK-5 students can complete with their chaperone! You can park in the rear parking lot and enter the doors by the gym. Parents/guardians of elementary students: Spring picture day is tomorrow. Individual and class pictures will be taken. Two different order forms were sent home, one for individual pictures and one for class photos. Orders can be completed by bringing the form(s) in to school on picture day or by using online ordering. Online ordering can be done by going to mylifetouch.com. Important dates over the next few days! We will be hosting the SHAC winter athletic banquet on Sunday, March 12th. Our own high school winter athletic banquet will be on March 13th. Girls basketball and bowling will begin at 6pm, with boys basketball and cheer following at 7pm.

Awesome 8th grade students earned some outside free time and decided to pick up trash around the middle school!!! Responsible & Respectful Rockets!!!


Tonight, the athletic department will be holding the spring preseason player/parent meeting. Student athletes and a parent/guardian are required to attend, but only if they have not attended the Fall or Winter meeting. This meeting will be held in the library at 6pm!
