Congratulations to the Cross Country team for their performance at the Ripley meet this past Saturday. The Rockets had a strong showing overall, and in the JH Boys division our very own Ethan Blust bested all runners with a time of 10 minute and 41 seconds. Awesome job Rockets.


Our 7th grade Lady Rockets show improvement in the second set, but fall to Batavia.


Our Rockets competed each snap of the game, represented well, and came up short, 12-0 at Manchester. We travel to Lucasville Valley next Friday for week two.

Now under the lights, the Greyhounds grab a pick six to increase their lead to 12-0. 7:00 left in the third quarter.

Our Rocket defense has been difficult to move against. Our offense found some holes and angles late in the half. The score remains 6-0 Greyhounds at halftime.


The Greyhounds run the opening kickoff back for a touchdown, 6-0. Our Rockets answer with our own great return into hound territory first and 10.

In a highly competitive match at Leesburg, our Rocket varsity took the opening set 25-20 before dropping a long, hard fought second, 23-25. The Lady Lions prevailed in the third and fourth by identical 25-17 margins to take the match.


What an impressive comeback by Coach Hoffman's JV squad. Down 22-7 in the first set, the Rockets jettisoned to a 25-24 win and rode the momentum into a 25-9 second set sweep at Leesburg. Well done, ladies!

Congratulations to our 8th grade girls volleyball team on their exciting win over Manchester in straight sets! Strong serves, smart plays, and great communication helped lead the way to a victory. The 7th grade volleyball team played a tough match against Manchester but came up just short. Even though we didn’t win, the team showed great effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the game. Get them next time girls.





Maximum effort, multiple individual battles, persistence ultimately pays off with the Rockets breaking through to score with eight minutes left in the game. Defense and decision making salted away the rest of the match for a 1-0 Lady Rockets win!!




Our Rocket boys soccer JV squad with a solid effort and execution to gain a 4-1 victory over Whiteoak today. The varsity travels to North Adams for a big one tomorrow night! Girls and boys play a doubleheader on the road with a scheduled start at 4:30 PM.

After a safety delay of 30 minutes, Rocket JV soccer opens the second half with a 2-1 lead over Whiteoak. It is finally very comfortable; come watch the boys finish this out.

Our boys soccer team was dominant at home versus Clinton Massie. Next up. ... SHAC favorite North Adams on their home field Wednesday. Our JV boys play at home tomorrow versus Whiteoak at 5 PM.
